(1) Picasso Museum

135 years ago Picasso was born on the 25th of October 1881. The Museum exhibits Picasso's work and ensures the regular replacement of the exhibitions. The Museum also works with social projects and education, where it is possible to attend courses and workshops for both children and adults. The building itself is already worth the visit, a 16th Century palace with arabic (mudejar) influence.

(2) Thyssen Museum

The Carmen Thyssen museum showcases pieces of the 19th and early 20th centuries, emphasizing on Andalusian painters. Temporary exhibits tend be more about international artists.

(3) Pompidou?Centre

You will find the Pompidou Centre?at Muelle Uno, where you can see the beautiful cube decorated with different colored glasses. Sunlight reflects from the glass cube, which contributes to a colorful experience in Museum. It is a pop-up museum, hence it will be open only for a limited time. Here you will be able to enjoy contemporary?art from the 20th and 21st century (from the Pompidou collection in Paris) and temporary exhibits froms different artists.

(4) Automobile Museum

As the name suggests, this is a museum for car enthusiasts. The Museum has more than 100 cars. Many of them are historical and range from?Europe and?North America. The Museum offers also a fashion section with 200 pieces of haute couture and a contemporary art section.

(5) Russian Museum

The Russian museum features, among other things, the work of Marc Chagall and Wassily Kandinsky. The Russian museum in Malaga is a branch of?the Russian Museum of St. Petersburg, the paintings showcased try to show a different side from the stereotypical Russian art.

(6) Museum of Glass and Crystal

This Museum is a private collection of more than 3,000 pieces of glass from different eras. This is a journey through time as you travel between the different styles from different eras. One of this museum's goals is to restore the old artisan neighborhood of San Felipe Neri and its traditions.

(7) Centre?of Contemporary Art (CAC)

You will find The CAC museum in the area known as?Soho de M?laga, on the banks of the normally dry Guadalmedina river. There are 6000 square meters of space with 2400 square meters of exhibition space. The aim of this museum is to promote and disseminate 20th and 21st century visual art. International art of this period is of interest to the museum. The collection of the museum consists of 400 pieces of art that have been lent by the owners for periods of 3 to 5 years. The museum has many temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

(8) The Interactive Museum of Music (MIMMA)

The museum?is in the 18th-century Palacio del Conde Navas. It contains an important collection of musical instruments from around the world and of all ages, many of which can be played. Intended for all audiences, from children to adults, it is an interactive museum where you can experiment: instead of "please do not touch", they encourage to play all instruments. Their motto is "hear, feel, discover".

This newly opened museum holds the biggest and most important collection of fine arts of the province. It inaugurated last December at the iconic old Customs Palace. It has a huge collection of archaeology, paintings and sculpture. A definite must!
