Malaga Marathon has become a classic sport in Andalusia, now in its 6th edition. Over the last couple of years it has also acquired a lot of popularity among foreigners who want to mix sport with their holidays. It is officially known as Marathon Cabberty Malaga.
Malaga Marathon 2015 will be held on December the 6th and the registration deadline is November the 25th. The route will pass through key points of the city such as Plaza de la Merced, the Roman Theatre and the Historic Centre. The terrain will be easier this year due to the route being flatter in general, this means you will able to enjoy the views and take in the scenery. The Marathon starts at 8:30 in the morning from the centre (Paseo del Parque), where the race will also finish.

During the Malaga Marathon in 2014, which saw three thousand registered athletes, the Kenyan athlete John Kipkorir, was the winner with a time of 2:13:10, improving on the winning time of the 3rd?edition marathon, where Ethiopian Wubishet Girfum obtained a time of 2:16: 52.
