- Vialia: This is a shopping mall created in Malaga?s central train station, Maria Zambrano. Visited by more than 18 million travellers, this station/shopping mall has some of the most popular fashion chains like Zara, H&M, Desigual, Stradivarius, Blanco, Pull & Bear, Sfera, Cortefiel and Massimo Dutti, among others. To complete your day?s shopping there is a bowling alley, open every day, a cinema with 13 screens and a variety of restaurants. You can walk from the historic city centre (around 20 minutes) or take buses number 16, 1 or 4 from the street Alameda Principal. Shops are open 10am to 10pm, everyday.
- Larios Centro: This is a bigger shopping mall, located just two minutes? walk away from Vialia, in Avenida Andalucia (one of the main streets of Malaga). It features two floors of shops, caf?s and restaurants. In here you will find almost anything you may need. From drugstores, supermarkets, decor and furniture shops, beauty spas, hairdressers, opticians, travel agencies? in addition to well-known brands like Amichi, Zara, Disney Store, Springfield, Massimo Dutti, Misako, Oysho, United Colors of Benetton, Yves Rocher, among others. To get there, you can walk from the city centre, going straight up from the street Alameda Principal (10 minutes) or taking bus number 14, 11, 4 or 6 from there too. Shops are open 10am to 10pm, everyday.
- Plaza Mayor: This open-air mall and leisure park is located just outside the city and is the biggest in Malaga. Perfect for spending a full day of shopping, with fun for the kids, restaurants and a full range of shops; all while you enjoy the always sunny Spanish weather. All the fashion brands mentioned before plus others like the Nike Factory store, Quicksilver, Levis, Diesel, Lee Outlet, Calcedonia, Polinesia, jewellery stores, toy stores, cinema, bowling, bars and restaurants, plus a supermarket. You can get there by bus number 10, which takes about 45 minutes. Shops are open 10am to 10pm, everyday.
- Historic centre and Muelle Uno: Without moving far away from your vacation rental this is a fabulous place to spend the day. Here, architecture from different centuries and the best and most varied culinary offerings will be your companions during your shopping day. Most of the streets are pedestrian-only, which makes them easy to walk along. The main street of the historic centre is called Calle Larios, being the commercial heart of Malaga where the best shops, well-established coffee shops and bars are located. Nowadays, commercial life has extended to all adjacent streets and squares, like Plaza de la Constituci?n (where the famous Caf? Central is). At night, the streets become even more alive, with plenty of bars and nightclubs inviting you to end your day with a few drinks. Muelle Uno, the new port of Malaga, just by the end of Calle Larios, also offers bars, restaurants and shops. So if you feel like swapping the charming view of old buildings for a sea view, go down to Muelle Uno!
- El Corte Ingl?s: Undoubtedly a Spanish icon where famous fashion brands are concerned. El Corte Ingl?s is the biggest department store chain in Europe, and every city in Spain will usually have more than one of these huge stores. If what you are looking for is expensive and glamorous, from the most popular designers, this is the place. Herm?s, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Armani, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Bulgari, Dior, Versace, Hugo Boss, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce&Gabbana, Burberry, Lacoste, CH by Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein? to name but a few. The nearest one is in the city centre at 4 Avenida de Andalucia.
