But the truth is that there are a lot of visitors coming to the Sunshine Coast for its wide range of golf courses. The Costa del Sol has the largest concentration of golf in Andalusia. Between Cadiz and Malaga alone, there are 94 golf courses!

Guadalhorce Golf Club: is perfect for major tournaments and has two large slopes. Their difficulty is reflected in the large number of outs and fast greens in the 18 holes. The new course, 6194 meters in length and with large greens designed by Miguel ?ngel Jim?nez is considered a long par 72 course. Guadalhorce holds an average of 60 tournaments a year, the most important being Grand Prix Vega Guadalhorce, usually held in September.

Club de Golf El Candado: El Candado a short 9 hole course as well as a social and sports club which offers many activities such as paddle, sailing, and tennis to its members. El candado is 2,362m s, and has a driving range. Several tournaments a year are held but the main tournament is Semana de Gold which is held every July.

Benalmadena Golf: this is a 9 hole Pitch & Putt course, par 3 with a driving range and practice area. The course is perfect for practicing short games, crossing lakes and overlooking the sea and mountains. This course is ideal for beginners and those who want to improve their game. There are tournaments on Thursdays and the first Sunday of each month.

A?oreta Golf: This course was designed by Jose Maria Canizares and is in a fantastic location, just 20 minutes from downtown Malaga. A?oreta has 18 holes. The par 72 has a longitude of 6,016 metres for professionals and 5,833 for amateurs, with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Alhaur?n Golf: Alhaurin Golf Club is Challenging, demanding, original and fun. Here you can enjoy one of the most spectacular golf courses in Spain. It consists of 18 holes par 72, designed by legendary player Severiano Ballesteros and 9-hole par 3, with great views of the Sierra de Mijas and the Mediterranean Sea. Multiple tournaments are held but one of the most important is Tournament Alhaurin Golf Villa in January.

Parador de M?laga Golf: the biggest attraction of this area is its proximity to the sea overlooking the Mediterranean. The course features an historical 18-hole course, 9-hole links, 9-hole Pitch & Putt, a golf school with renowned professionals and with the help of a video and an area reserved for professionals and their groups.
