All the rooftop terraces mentioned here are identified by their cosmopolitan atmosphere and the select audiences they attract, with the usual minimum age of about 25 to 30. Oasis Lounge Bar: This bar is located on the rooftop terrace of a small hostel in the center of Malaga. The views are not the main attraction, but if it's great atmosphere that you are looking for, this is the place! It is frequented by those staying at the hostel as well as locals who enjoy an after work beverage. They always play great music selected by the Oasis DJ and the Gin cocktails are the most popular. It does not serve food.

La Piscina Lounge: It is located on the 8th floor of the hotel Molina Lario and features a small pool. There is also an additional terrace on floor 7 which offers a slightly more cosy setting with sofas, covered seating and an additional bar. Although the rooftop terrace is relatively small the split levels give a real feeling of space. You can also reserve a table to eat something. The restaurant offers pizzas, burgers and tapas, or you could just have a drink overlooking the cathedral or the port of Malaga. One of its biggest "pros" is its good service (and its mojitos) .Thursdays are the busiest evenings as they usually hold fashion shows, live music concerts or charity events here.

Terraza del AC M?laga Palacio: this beautiful panoramic terrace is on the rooftop of the hotel AC Malaga Palacio, in my opinion, it has the best views of the city. With a 360-degree view, you can see the entire historical center, the Cathedral of Malaga, Paseo del Parque and the port - Muelle Uno. It has a pool which gives the terrace a real "tropical" feel. In high season there is usually live music, comedy nights and special events held here. There is also a glass fronted restaurant with an extensive menu.

Terraza del Alcazaba Premium Hostel (Batik): The views of the ruins of the Roman theater and Alcazaba of Malaga on one side and the Palacio de Buenavista on the other, are the biggest attraction of this terrace. On the top floor of the Alcazaba Premium Hostel is this very cool chill-out bar where you can enjoy a drink or cocktail with wonderful views and good music. On the ground floor you will also find the restaurant, offering great fusion food.

Terraza de Larios: In the middle of Calle Larios you will find Hotel Room Mate Larios. This designer-chic terrace is noted for its atmosphere. This is very much the place to go for an after work beverage with chill its chill out music and great views of Malaga.

Chinitas Lounge: This small and quirky terrace is not the most famous or the biggest, but it is one of my favourites for its views of the Malaga Cathedral amongst the red roofs of the historic centre. It is frequented mainly by locals who enjoy an evening drink after work. The roof-top terrace and has two floors and also plays cool lounge music.
